Where. Have. I. BEEN?! Nearly 2 years later, and I have to say that I'm incredibly sorry to have disappeared from the site for so long. I really wish I had a great excuse, but it's one of those issues where you disappear for awhile and then it gets harder and harder to get back into the swing of things. However, I am back, and I'm going to be reworking the site bit by bit until it's all up and where it should be once again!

As cheesy as it sounds, I never actually did forget about the site. While it certainly did get neglected, the site has been through two host changes (which explains why all database stuff suddenly died) and I have collected stories in my time away. But now that I'm back we're going to see if we can drag it back from the depths and to its previous luster. And by 'luster', I mean all 15 people who actually came here.

We DO have new stories this week.. and next week.. and the week after that. This week, we have the "A Whole New Kind of Love" trilogy (under ChibiUsa and Hotaru) written by the talented Jerry-Rose, though all you kids better proceed with caution (as there's some adult material in there). Be sure to read through it all, as she did a good job with it and, what's more, it's a new series starring ChibiUsa and Hotaru, a mean feat nowadays!

I'll be slowly doing some background stuff with the site and working on a redesign, so be sure to check back soon. At the very least, I'll have more stories and a update up again by next week. I can't think of a more fitting way to celebrate the 8th year anniversary, though, than to start the site back up and try to revitalize it. I'm definitely open to suggestions and feedback of any kind. Please let me know if anything's broken, or what could be done to make the site better (my contact info can be found on the 'staff' page).

As for what I have been doing and where I've been, I've been to England and Korea in my absence, and graduated university back in May. I'm now living in Japan as an English teacher while I continue studying Japanese.. it's definitely been pretty exciting. Once I get the board up and running, maybe I'll put some photos of Japan up and such.
